Your block list stays current

Shield syncs a shared, always-updating block list maintained by DebtHelp and reported by clients like you. New problem numbers are added for everyone — you don't have to lift a finger.

Your phone does the rest

Blocking happens on your device using Apple's built-in Call Directory. Blocked numbers simply don't ring through. Shield never listens to, records, or intercepts your calls.

How does Shield block calls?

Shield uses Apple's built-in Call Directory feature. Blocked numbers are handed to iOS and your phone silences them automatically. The blocking happens on your device — Shield does not intercept, record, or listen to your calls.

Will it block calls I actually want?
